Alberto Luis Volpe Jr. "Al" passed away on August 28th at Houston Methodist. Al was 69 years old, Born on September 6, 1947 in Laredo Texas to Alberto Luis Volpe Sr. & Bianca Cruz Volpe.
Al was a graduate of Texas A&M University class of '68. His was an engineer with Brown & Root/KBR for 40 years, taking on many projects worldwide (USA, South America, Dutch Netherland Antilles, Middle East, Australia, and the UK). He was a Fellow of International Centre for Complex Project Management. He loved to travel and experience new cultures.

Alberto Luis Volpe Jr. "Al" passed away on August 28th at Houston Methodist. Al was 69 years old, Born on September 6, 1947 in Laredo Texas to Alberto Luis Volpe Sr. & Bianca Cruz Volpe.
Al was a graduate of Texas A&M University class of '68. His was an engineer with Brown & Root/KBR for 40 years, taking on many projects worldwide (USA, South America, Dutch Netherland Antilles, Middle East, Australia, and the UK). Al is survived by his wife Josefa Gutierrez Volpe "Pepa" of 48 years, son Marco Volpe and daughter Andrea V. Hastings, brother Arturo Volpe and granddaughters Aviana Volpe, Audrina Volpe, and Arabella Hastings.

Al was a fixer and problem solver in all aspects of his life, he loved to find new projects. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. He was admired by all who met him because of his diligence and integrity. Those who got to know him well, will miss his wry sense of humor.

A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024, with a reception to follow in the events room at the funeral home.
