Phyllis Ann Schuchart Goff, age 73, passed away on June 6, 2017, from complications due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy ("PSP").
Phyllis was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She was a proud employee at Scott Air Force Base, Hedwig Village City Hall, and owner of Humus Products of America. Phyllis was an active member of St. Cecilia Catholic Community. Her greatest joy was spoiling her children and grandchildren.
Phyllis is predeceased by her sister Dianne Schuchart, her father Anthony Schuchart, and her husband David Goff. She is survived by her mother Viola Schuchart; her brother Michael Schuchart, wife Ida, and their three children; her children: daughter Jennifer Heitshusen and her husband Scott, son Robert Stein, and daughter Heather Stein; and her grandchildren: Daniel and Ben Heitshusen, and Jordan and Bethany Stein.
Phyllis was kind and generous to a fault. Her wit and charitable spirit will be missed greatly.
The family would like to thank the team of care givers from "At Your Side Home Care" and "Encompass Hospice" who provided loving care for their mom during her last years.
Visitation with the family will take place at Earthman Funeral Directors at 8303 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77024, on Sunday, June 11, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. A service celebrating her life and faith will take place at St. Cecilia Catholic Church at 11720 Joan of Arc Dr, Houston, TX 77024, on Monday, June 12, at 10:30 a.m. with a reception at St. Cecilia following. Interment is family only.
