Rose Marie Trapolino passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Rose was a native Houstonian born to Vincie and Nathan Trapolino. Rose attended St. Ann's Catholic School and graduated in 1958 from St. Agnes Academy. She worked for 35 years in the insurance industry with co-workers who she thought of as family. She retired in 2003, but continued to volunteer on a regular basis with the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston. Rose Marie Trapolino passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Rose was a native Houstonian born to Vincie and Nathan Trapolino. Rose attended St. Ann's Catholic School and graduated in 1958 from St. Agnes Academy. She worked for 35 years in the insurance industry with co-workers who she thought of as family. She retired in 2003, but continued to volunteer on a regular basis with the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston. Rose was active in the Houston Ballet Guild for many years and received the Joanne Isaacman Award for Excellence in 2013. Rose was an active volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for over 40 years and was a charter member of the "Breeder's Greeters", where she made many lifelong friends.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, May 8, at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Director, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. The funeral mass will be Tuesday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road. Interment to follow in the Garden of Gethsemani at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
